Position Overview:

The Guest Services Representative plays a crucial role in providing a warm welcome and seamless check-in experience for our guests. This position is essential in ensuring exceptional customer service throughout the guest's stay, from registration to checkout. Key responsibilities include managing reservations, performing concierge duties, and maintaining high standards of service.

Key Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; relevant college coursework is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in hospitality or a related field is preferred.
  • Exhibit a positive demeanor and a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to convey information clearly and effectively.
  • Quick decision-making abilities to evaluate and select appropriate actions.
  • Capability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in problem-solving and addressing guest concerns proactively.
  • Strong listening skills to understand and clarify guest inquiries.
  • Basic financial literacy and ability to handle numerical operations.
  • Competence in reading and writing simple instructions and correspondence.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Understanding of hotel services and guest offerings.
  • Ability to contribute to a positive workplace atmosphere.

  • Engage with guests and colleagues in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards.
  • Ensure regular attendance in line with company policies and scheduling needs.
  • Adhere to all company policies and regulations to promote safe hotel operations.
  • Greet and assist guests at the Front Desk, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Operate the telephone switchboard efficiently, meeting performance standards.
  • Handle guest inquiries and requests for information with courtesy and efficiency.
  • Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
  • Establish effective communication and teamwork with fellow staff members.
  • Stay informed about rates, packages, and special promotions.
  • Gather necessary information for room reservations and follow established procedures.
  • Familiarize yourself with company policies and hospitality terminology.
  • Assist in emergency procedures as needed.
  • Manage check-in and check-out processes in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Utilize the Front Desk computer system proficiently.
  • Ensure timely logging and delivery of packages and messages to guests.
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel amenities and local events.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to overall hotel cleanliness and safety.
