Job Summary

As a Front Desk Agent with Aimbridge Hospitality, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a seamless stay experience for our valued customers. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Registering guests and handling check-ins and check-outs in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Providing information and assistance to guests regarding hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
  • Handling requests for mail, messages, and packages in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Maintaining accurate records and performing administrative tasks as needed.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless guest service and resolve any issues that may arise.
Responsibilities

As a Front Desk Agent, you will be expected to:

  • Approach all interactions with guests and colleagues in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, adhering to brand standards.
  • Ensure regular attendance and adhere to Aimbridge Hospitality's scheduling requirements.
  • Comply with all company policies, standards, and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Be aware of all hotel rates, packages, and special promotions, as well as in-house groups and restricted dates.
  • Process room reservations and follow rate quoting scenarios accurately.
  • Be familiar with all Aimbridge Hospitality policies and house rules, as well as hospitality terminology.
  • Participate in emergency procedures as required and maintain a working knowledge of hotel amenities and local attractions.
Requirements

To be successful as a Front Desk Agent, you will need to possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with a college course work in a related field being a plus.
  • Experience in a hotel or related field, with a positive and upbeat personality and a desire to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • The ability to multitask, be detail-oriented, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey information and ideas clearly.
  • Basic arithmetic functions and financial knowledge, with the ability to work with and understand financial information and data.
  • An operational knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and the ability to use logic to define problems and interpret information.
  • The ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, and to participate in the creation of an enjoyable work environment.
