Key Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required; relevant college coursework is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • A positive demeanor and a strong commitment to customer service are essential.
  • Ability to multitask, pay attention to detail, and resolve issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary for conveying information clearly.
  • Quick decision-making abilities are important for evaluating options and taking appropriate actions.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Engage with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards.
  • Ensure regular attendance as per scheduling requirements.
  • Comply with company policies and regulations to promote safe hotel operations.
  • Welcome all guests at the Front Desk, maintaining a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Operate the telephone switchboard efficiently, meeting performance standards.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding hotel services, amenities, and operational hours.
  • Assist guests with information about local attractions and transportation options.
  • Foster effective communication and teamwork with colleagues across departments.
  • Stay informed about rates, packages, and special promotions.
  • Gather necessary information for room reservations and follow established procedures.
  • Be knowledgeable about company policies and hospitality terminology.
  • Assist in emergency procedures as required.
  • Facilitate check-ins and check-outs with efficiency and courtesy.
  • Utilize the Front Desk computer system proficiently.
  • Manage the logging and delivery of packages and messages for guests.
  • Use proper communication etiquette when interacting with team members.
  • Deliver guest items as requested, ensuring timely service.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel amenities and local events.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to overall hotel cleanliness and safety.
