Loureiro Engineering Associates is seeking a qualified individual to assume the role of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Project Manager.

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing technical activities related to environmental, health, and safety regulatory compliance initiatives. Key duties include ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget while fostering strong client relationships. This role requires managing the execution of technical projects across various regulatory domains, guiding project teams, and handling multiple projects concurrently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage technical activities for environmental, health, and safety compliance projects.
  • Conduct compliance evaluations, regulatory assessments, and training sessions for EHS requirements.
  • Perform technical tasks at client locations, including analyses, calculations, and report generation.
  • Ensure effective project execution in areas such as hazardous waste management, air emissions permitting, and workplace safety.
  • Design and implement EHS training programs and identify new project opportunities.
  • Maintain and develop client relationships through networking and proposal development.
  • Guide project team members, oversee project budgets, and ensure high-quality outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Outstanding technical writing, communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Commitment to safety protocols.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, industrial hygiene, or safety management.
  • 6-10 years of experience in consulting, environmental agencies, or manufacturing.
  • In-depth knowledge of environmental and regulatory compliance, including the interpretation of state and federal regulations.
  • Familiarity with EHS compliance and hazardous waste management.
  • Professional certifications (CSP, CHMM, CIH, PE) are advantageous.
Physical Requirements:
  • Extended periods of desk work and computer usage.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
  • Proficiency in operating office equipment and keyboard skills.
  • Ability to handle materials and adhere to safety protocols.
