Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and direct projects of varying sizes and technical intricacies, including large-scale enterprise initiatives.
  • Manage assigned projects through all phases: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
  • Enhance competitive advantage through IT by driving process improvements that focus on speed, efficiency, quality, and adaptability.
  • Guide project teams through requirements gathering, design, development, and deployment, considering scope, complexity, schedule, and resources.
  • Facilitate project planning and estimation of milestones, schedules, and resource requirements.
  • Proactively identify and manage project Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies.
  • Control changes, adjust timelines, and modify project scope as necessary.
  • Evaluate current project management methodologies and implement enhancements to boost delivery speed and quality.
  • Act as a change agent and a positive influence within the organization.
  • Ensure consistency, quality, accountability, and high standards across all projects.
  • Provide guidance, technical direction, project assignments, training, and performance feedback to staff.
  • Generate status updates and milestone reports, including critical path analysis.
  • Manage work stream leaders through a matrix management approach.
  • Track interdependencies among various work streams.
  • Utilize expertise to develop and present strategic options and recommendations across multiple projects.
  • Coordinate activities of cross-functional Program Teams through effective meeting facilitation and information dissemination.
  • Develop and monitor project schedules and budgets, including variance analysis.
  • Create and maintain a detailed Microsoft Project Enterprise Schedule/Plan, incorporating time and cost estimates.
  • Assist IT Management in negotiating complex technical and business matters.
  • Ensure adherence to internal project methodology standards.
  • Facilitate the smooth transition of solutions to the support team following established processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of extensive experience in IT project management.
  • Proven ability to manage a diverse range of projects, including Agile (Scrum and Kanban), Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Azure Dev Ops, and Teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing teams, particularly remote team members.
  • Possession of at least one of the following certifications: PMP, MPM, CSM, CSPM, AgilePM.
