Key Responsibilities:- Cultivate and steward relationships with major donors, corporations, and foundations to secure significant funding for WPC's mission.
- Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies, including annual giving, planned giving, and major gifts.
- Lead a team of development professionals to achieve fundraising goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Oversee event planning and execution, including logistics, budgeting, and audience experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as nonprofit management, business, or communications.
- Minimum of 5 years of successful fundraising experience, with a proven track record of securing major gifts and corporate partnerships.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with donors, stakeholders, and team members.
- Proficiency in fundraising CRMs/databases and event management software.
- 10+ years of fundraising experience, with a strong track record of success in annual campaigns, portfolio management, and event planning.
- Expertise in planned giving, including bequests, trusts, and annuities.
- Fundraising certification, such as CFRE, or professional memberships that demonstrate a long-term commitment to the field.
- Experience in leading teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
