About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining the vision, owning the roadmap, and driving the team to execute on that vision.

Key responsibilities include defining the employee and manager experience from offer acceptance to start, creating the long-term product vision and roadmap, influencing partner teams towards your vision, and determining and building business metrics to help prioritize and drive execution towards the vision.

You will work directly with key stakeholders in the business to understand customer problems, identify innovation opportunities, engage with engineers, and collect customer feedback from studies, focus groups, and testing.

Responsibilities also include managing product milestones from concept to launch, proactively identifying and resolving strategic and tactical issues, providing cross-functional leadership, and defining a prioritization rubric, evaluating trade-offs, setting goals, and defining success metrics.

You will clearly communicate roadmap vision and timelines to deliver core capabilities with associated customer or business benefits to Sr. Leaders across business, operations, and technical teams.

As a Product Manager, you will lead cross-functional teams to deliver on product development lifecycle milestones and seek to understand where science can be integrated and strategically influence how that science can be integrated in talent products and processes.

About the Team

Our team's north star is to enable Amazon to realize the goal of compensation: attracting, motivating, and retaining talent. We do this by providing the products and services necessary for calculating and managing every compensation change activity in the lifecycle of all global Amazon employees.

We give all users a clear and consistent understanding of how compensation was calculated, how and when it can be adjusted, and the impacts of compensation adjustments. We provide the reporting, data, and insights that enables continuous evolution of compensation programs and policies.

Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with end-to-end product delivery
  • Experience with feature delivery and trade-offs of a product
  • Experience as a product manager or owner
  • Experience owning technology products
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data-driven insights
  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
