The ACE team is responsible for delivering connected experiences for career discovery, movement, and compensation across Amazon's global talent management and compensation applications. As the product owner for internal movement, you will define the business strategy and influence the software development roadmap to deliver a seamless employee and manager experience from offer acceptance to start.
You will create the long-term product vision and roadmap, drive execution towards the vision, and determine business metrics to prioritize and drive execution. You will engage with all types of customers and stakeholders, effectively communicating to both technical and non-technical audiences.
The technology you build will have a cross-team and organization-wide impact, supporting Amazon's growing and diverse population of employees and powering innovation to support strategic organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities- Define the vision, own the roadmap, and drive the team to execute on that vision
- Lead 'think-big' initiatives where the opportunity is yet to be defined, bringing clarity to complexity
- Work directly with key stakeholders in the business to understand customer problems, identify innovation opportunities, and engage with engineers and collect customer feedback
- Manage product milestones from concept to launch, proactively identifying and resolving strategic and tactical issues, providing cross-functional leadership
- Define a prioritization rubric, evaluate trade-offs, set goals, and define success metrics
