Job Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and customer-obsessed Sr. Product Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our WW Promotions team, you will be responsible for developing systems and processes to accelerate growth for Amazon retail by sourcing and prominently merchandising deals during High Velocity Events.

You will work closely with senior leadership across teams to establish priorities for tooling requirements, review progress, and identify key blockers. Your expertise in product development will enable you to systematically identify gaps in existing processes and own business requirements to build efficient tools for deal sourcing, planning, reporting, merchandising, and inventory planning.

As a Sr. Product Manager, you will influence central teams WW, including Promotions, Events, NASM, BI, and Finance, to invent and simplify deals-related processes for US Retail. Your strong BI skills will enable you to query Deals data, QA reports and tools, and support leadership ad hoc requests.

The ideal candidate will have a strong data analytics background, excellent influencing and communication skills, and the ability to think strategically in a quick-paced, ambiguous setting. You will demonstrate sound business judgement and inspire trust when presenting to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic planning: Work with senior leadership to establish priorities for tooling requirements and review progress.
  • Product Development: Identify gaps in existing processes and own business requirements to build efficient tools for deal sourcing, planning, reporting, merchandising, and inventory planning.
  • Influence partners: Influence central teams WW to invent and simplify deals-related processes for US Retail.
  • Data Analysis: Query Deals data, QA reports and tools, and support leadership ad hoc requests.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
  • Experience as a product manager or owner.
  • Experience with end-to-end product delivery.
  • Experience owning technology products.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data-driven insights.
  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Master's degree or equivalent.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
