About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Product Manager to join our Amazon Payments Compliance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining the strategic, long-term vision and roadmap for our payment infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Influence and drive technical decisions by weighing technical and business tradeoffs.
  • Define the 3-year roadmap for the team, including prioritization mental model and financial implications.
  • Assess the ROI of new infrastructure builds by defining use cases, and building out the business case.
  • Communicate the vision, mission, and plan of the team to senior leadership.
A Day in the Life

You will work closely with engineers and data scientists to develop and execute new technologies that support both customer and seller payment experiences. You will rally support for your vision across the org, and communicate your plans to senior leadership.

About the Team

This is a newly formed team within the Amazon Payments organization, focused on developing new infrastructure that accelerates development and expansion of existing businesses across Amazon globally. We are looking for a strong product leader to drive our initiatives across the company.

Basic Qualifications
  • 8+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
  • Experience with end-to-end product delivery.
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
  • Experience technical product management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements.
  • Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement.

Compensation

The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
