Job Title: Vice President for Institutional Advancement and Executive Director

SUNY Purchase College is seeking a visionary leader to serve as Vice President for Institutional Advancement and Executive Director of the Purchase College Foundation and Charitable Entities. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the College's advancement efforts, including fundraising, alumni relations, and community engagement.

About the Role

The Vice President for Institutional Advancement and Executive Director will be a key member of the College's senior leadership team, working closely with the President and other institutional leaders to advance the College's mission and goals. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in fundraising, alumni relations, and community engagement, and will be able to build and maintain strong relationships with alumni, donors, and community leaders.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the College's advancement efforts, including fundraising, alumni relations, and community engagement
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive advancement strategy that aligns with the College's mission and goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with alumni, donors, and community leaders
  • Oversee the College's fundraising efforts, including major gifts, annual giving, and planned giving
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive alumni relations strategy that engages alumni and fosters a sense of community
  • Work closely with the College's senior leadership team to advance the College's mission and goals
Requirements

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of experience in advancement, fundraising, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in fundraising, alumni relations, and community engagement, and will be able to build and maintain strong relationships with alumni, donors, and community leaders.

The salary range for this position is $200,000 to $225,000, and the selected candidate's salary will be competitive and commensurate with education and experience.
