Key Responsibilities:
- Design, oversee, and refine Knowledge Management systems (e.g., SharePoint platforms, databases, internal web resources) for effective data storage, sharing, and utilization.
- Provide training for system users, including Intelligence Community partners, and create user documentation as necessary.
- Develop and implement simulations and exercises to evaluate database readiness and communication pathways.
- Maintain and refresh a comprehensive repository for guidelines, Internal Process Documents (IPDs), and policy memoranda.
- Create data repositories tailored to various mission requirements that automatically produce visual representations to aid in analysis, reporting, and presentations.
Core Duties:
- Advise on optimal utilization of Knowledge Management tools to enhance information sharing of analyses, assessments, legislative documents, policies, strategies, budget information, IT resources, and other pertinent materials.
- Integrate information with other databases as necessary.
- Employ automated tools and visualizations to improve user access and facilitate the analysis of information holdings.
- Establish and maintain virtual communities of interest to enable collaboration among Intelligence Communities, facilitating storage, search, and discovery of information, sharing of lessons learned and best practices, and tracking metrics to evaluate progress against various programs, policies, and strategies.
- Identify opportunities to enhance information exchange across systems and between governmental and private sectors.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Knowledge Management processes and methodologies, including organizational studies, system design, work simplification, and measurement studies.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare operational and procedural manuals to assist management in enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Strong proficiency in SharePoint.
- Working knowledge of quality control/testing to provide insights on the functionality of web features in displaying content.
- Excellent organizational skills focused on processes to ensure a well-structured repository and content pipeline for review and upload.
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience, or no degree with 9+ years of experience.
