Customer Service Support Specialist

Job Summary:
GDIT is seeking a Customer Service Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our enterprise IT team, you will provide technical support and assistance to our customers, ensuring their IT systems and networks are running smoothly and securely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support on mission IT systems and networks
- Offer strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Interact with service providers to resolve IT systems, connectivity, and network issues
- Support VTC, including Microsoft Teams, WebEx, and Skype
- Provide mission IT software and hardware support
- Work across multiple organizations with competing priorities to resolve IT systems and networks issues
- Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Provide remote desktop support and answer user inquiries regarding computer software and hardware operation
- Use enterprise tools to document and track incident tickets
- Work in a team environment and with all levels of management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 5+ years of related experience
- Demonstrated experience in providing IT support and assistance
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interact with service providers and resolve IT systems, connectivity, and network issues
- Experience with VTC, including Microsoft Teams, WebEx, and Skype
- Ability to provide mission IT software and hardware support
- Experience working across multiple organizations with competing priorities
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
