Job Summary:

GDIT is seeking a Customer Service Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our enterprise IT team, you will provide technical support and assistance to our customers, ensuring their IT systems and networks are running smoothly and securely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support on mission IT systems and networks
  • Offer strong customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Interact with service providers to resolve IT systems, connectivity, and network issues
  • Support VTC, including Microsoft Teams, WebEx, and Skype
  • Provide mission IT software and hardware support
  • Work across multiple organizations with competing priorities to resolve IT systems and networks issues
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Provide remote desktop support and answer user inquiries regarding computer software and hardware operation
  • Use enterprise tools to document and track incident tickets
  • Work in a team environment and with all levels of management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Demonstrated experience in providing IT support and assistance
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interact with service providers and resolve IT systems, connectivity, and network issues
  • Experience with VTC, including Microsoft Teams, WebEx, and Skype
  • Ability to provide mission IT software and hardware support
  • Experience working across multiple organizations with competing priorities
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience providing remote desktop support and answering user inquiries regarding computer software and hardware operation
