Job Description

The Senior Account Executive will play a critical role in driving sales growth and building strong relationships with key decision-makers in the government and public safety sectors. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy, identifying new business opportunities, and positioning Motorola Solutions as a trusted partner for public safety agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the Florida leadership team to develop and implement a sales strategy that aligns with Motorola Solutions' business objectives.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including Sheriff, Fire Chief, Police Chief, CIO/CTO, Administrator/Manager, and other officials.
  • Opportunity Development: Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities across Motorola Solutions' portfolio of products and services.
  • Account Management: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences, and position Motorola Solutions as a trusted advisor to influence technology platform decisions.
  • Business Development: Develop strategies to position long-term opportunities for Motorola Solutions and drive revenue growth.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales/public safety experience OR 8+ years of sales/public safety experience.
  • Location: Must live in Florida.
Travel Requirements:

25-50% travel to customers in Southwest Florida.
