Position Overview: As a Lead Social Media Strategist at Levelwing, you will recognize that establishing a successful social media presence requires meticulous planning and development. A proficient Lead Social Media Strategist can engage critical audiences and positively influence brand initiatives through adept navigation of the social landscape. You will be instrumental in creating campaigns that encapsulate a brand's essence, engage consumers, and foster advocacy. Your role will involve analyzing performance metrics, proactively communicating industry and platform trends, and offering recommendations to maintain leadership in the social media arena. Additionally, you will oversee the daily operations of Social Media Manager direct reports.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • What You Bring:
    • A Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
    • Over five (5) years of experience in an agency setting or in-house for recognized brands.
    • Practical experience utilizing social media to enhance brand visibility.
    • Proficiency in copywriting and content creation.
    • Familiarity with social media management tools such as Facebook Scheduling, Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Sprout, Grin, Mavrk, etc.
    • Ability to identify trends and insights within social platforms.
    • Experience with social media analytics and reporting.
    • Community management experience is advantageous.
    • Experience in managing social influencers is a plus.

    • You have built your career on your knowledge and enthusiasm for social media platforms including TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Reddit, X, and Pinterest.
    • You recognize the significance of strong verbal and written communication and have refined your skills in these areas.
    • You are passionate about understanding audience preferences and creating tailored content.
    • You possess strong analytical skills and a passion for metrics and data in social media marketing.
    • You excel in time and project management.
    • You are adept at multitasking, managing various projects, deadlines, and tasks simultaneously.
    • You are proactive, always striving to anticipate future needs and prepare accordingly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining cohesive social strategies across platforms to achieve high user engagement.
  • Monitoring social media trends and hashtags relevant to the brands we support and their audiences.
  • Overseeing the daily activities of Social Media Managers who create and execute content calendars and schedule posts for various brands.
  • Leading the development and execution of influencer campaigns, engaging bloggers and media outlets to enhance brand visibility and generate social buzz around significant events.
  • Reviewing and guiding the original, high-quality content produced by Social Media Managers prior to publication across social media platforms.
  • Creating, reviewing, editing, and optimizing guidelines for social media managers to effectively respond to audience interactions.
  • Analyzing performance metrics and providing insights before presenting findings to clients.
    • Conducting weekly and monthly reports on engagement, follower growth, creative performance, and other metrics linked to the brand's business objectives.
  • Collaborating with the broader Levelwing team to present a unified front to clients, acting as a trusted business partner.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.
