Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Operations Manager to join our team at SP Plus Corporation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our parking facilities, ensuring seamless operations, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facility Management: Supervise the quality of work for all employees, ensuring that all work tasks and assignments are performed efficiently, effectively, and as required.
  • Operations Oversight: Ensure that all facilities are open and closed at the specified times, and that proper parking, security, and cash control procedures are followed.
  • Employee Supervision: Hire, train, and maintain a vast labor pool of frontline employees, providing them with the necessary training and tools to perform at their best.
  • Customer Service: Respond to customer service issues and resolve them on the spot, maintaining order in assigned lots and ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Financial Management: Handle general accounting duties, including accounts payable, payroll, petty cash, and budgeting, as well as monitor and review all damage claims.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Compile and submit Event Summaries to clients, and maintain accurate records and reports as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Minimal high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Prior supervisory/managerial experience in parking or a related field preferred, but not required.
  • Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English; ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but standard written or oral instructions.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
Work Environment
