The KidStrong Assistant Center Manager serves as the key support to the Center General Manager.

This role involves collaborating with the General Manager to cultivate an environment centered on growth and development for both Coaches and Families, while also achieving critical business outcomes such as sales performance and reducing member turnover.

The Assistant Center Manager is a skilled, approachable, and engaging leader dedicated to providing an outstanding experience for children, families, and team members.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

CENTER OPERATIONS
Comprehend the center's essential KPIs and financial metrics to make informed and responsible business choices.

Establish and nurture relationships with KidStrong families to align with our core values and deliver exceptional customer service.

Oversee center-level initiatives including maintenance, training, and brand consistency.

Manage the daily, weekly, and monthly upkeep of the center.

Communicate any schedule changes for Coaches using appropriate scheduling and communication tools.

Organize and promote KidStrong events such as Camps and Parties to enhance center profitability.

SALES
Ensure flawless lead management by conducting outreach to new and existing leads in the Center's CRM system.

Finalize sales and bookings generated through online self-sign-up processes.

Source and participate in local events to boost brand visibility, generate additional leads, and increase memberships.

LEADERSHIP
Encourage a coaching culture - see something, say something.

Continuously evaluate and document Coaches based on the KidStrong Coach DNA profile and class quality.

Collaborate with the General Manager on onboarding, managing, training, and assessing coaching candidates.

Support ongoing professional development of staff through LearnUpon.

Communicate professionally with colleagues via Slack and Email, including regular checks of messages when not on-site.

COACHING


Guide students by delivering a dynamic curriculum that emphasizes Brain, Physical, and Character development for ages ranging from 15 months to 11 years, as required by business needs.

Understand the rationale behind the KidStrong curriculum and articulate it clearly and effectively.

Demonstrate and oversee the implementation of various programming and curriculum components.

Utilize the KS Coaches App to record data and provide information (attendance, awards, etc.).


Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment; coaches may cover significant distances during a shift and lift and move equipment weighing up to 25 pounds regularly.

Must be comfortable physically engaging with children to ensure proper technique and student safety.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

Athletic or coaching background with experience working with or coaching children ages 15 months - 11 years; a passion for working with kids is essential.

Comfortable communicating with parents/guardians on various topics.

Achieve Coach Certification through the HQ Training and Certification team.

Complete training through LearnUpon as mandated by the HQ Training and Certification team.

Prior experience as a pediatric OT/PT is advantageous but not required.

Previous management experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Practical experience with Google and Microsoft platforms.

Familiarity with systems and platforms such as ZenPlanner, LearnUpon, CareerPlug, and ADP is preferred but not required.

Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics.

CPR certified.

SPHERE OF INTERACTION
This position will not have any direct reports. When the General Manager is unavailable, the Assistant Center Manager will assume the role of Manager on Duty. The Assistant Center Manager will act as a leader and mentor, making communication and interpersonal skills vital. This role will involve close collaboration with center team members and families, as well as interaction with DFW leadership and KidStrong, Inc. HQ team members.
