We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of New Center Operations to join our team at KidStrong. As a key member of our Operations Team, you will play a critical role in the successful opening and growth of new KidStrong Centers across the US and Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with franchise owners to ensure the successful opening and growth of new KidStrong Centers.
  • Lead a team of Development Specialists responsible for construction, staffing, marketing, member development, and training.
  • Collaborate with support teams at HQ, including leadership, marketing, accounting, training, sales, and external vendors to ensure franchisee success.
  • Develop and maintain project documents, including AIA agreements, vendor contracts, and construction drawings.
  • Ensure timely and successful completion of new center openings, including business requirements, design, construction, equipment delivery, staffing, and training.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to new center openings, including timeline, equipment ordering, staffing, and membership acquisition.
Requirements
  • Proven success in leading and motivating teams to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Strong EQ and ability to communicate with confidence and clarity to franchise partners and area developers.
  • Experience in the field of fitness studio/center design and opening new franchise units in a membership-driven business model.
  • Experience working in a franchise system, consulting with franchisees throughout the construction and membership pre-sale process.
  • Strong understanding of construction documents, including drawings, submittals, permits, safety, change orders, RFIs, ASIs, etc.
  • Ability to multitask, manage multiple center development projects simultaneously, guide team priorities, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent judgment, decision-making abilities, and problem-solving skills.
