Position Overview:

The Assistant Culinary Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the culinary operations within the club, ensuring excellence in food preparation and presentation while managing kitchen staff effectively. This position is integral to enhancing the culinary brand and ensuring operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the procurement, production, and presentation of food items.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards in all back-of-house operations.
  • Complete essential administrative tasks, including operations reports and inventory documentation.
  • Contribute to menu development and direct food presentation across various dining concepts.
  • Manage labor and operating costs through strategic planning and recipe management.
  • Provide hands-on coaching and training to kitchen staff to enhance skills and techniques.
  • Adapt to the dynamic needs of the culinary team by assisting in various functions as required.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a culinary leadership role is required, demonstrating proficiency in staff supervision, cost management, and quality control. A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary, with a preference for candidates holding a college degree. A valid County Food Handlers Permit is also required.
