The KidStrong Center Assistant Manager plays a pivotal role as the second-in-command within the center. This position is responsible for collaborating with the General Manager to cultivate a culture centered on learning and development for both Coaches and Families, while also achieving essential business outcomes such as sales growth and reducing member turnover.

Key Responsibilities:

Center Operations:

  • Grasp the center's critical KPIs and financial metrics to make informed business decisions.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with KidStrong families to align with our core values and deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Oversee center-level initiatives including maintenance, training, and brand consistency.
  • Ensure regular cleaning and upkeep of the center.
  • Manage scheduling and communicate any changes effectively.
  • Promote and sell KidStrong events such as Camps and Parties to enhance center profitability.

Sales:

  • Maintain effective lead management through proactive outreach to new and existing leads.
  • Finalize sales and bookings generated through online self-sign-up.
  • Engage in local events to boost brand visibility and attract new memberships.

Leadership:

  • Encourage a coaching culture by promoting open communication.
  • Regularly assess and document Coaches based on established performance criteria.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager on onboarding, training, and evaluating coaching staff.
  • Support ongoing professional development of team members.
  • Maintain professional communication with colleagues through appropriate channels.

Coaching:

  • Deliver a dynamic curriculum focused on Brain, Physical, and Character development for children aged 15 months to 11 years.
  • Effectively communicate the rationale behind the KidStrong curriculum.
  • Implement various programming elements and manage their execution.
  • Utilize the KS Coaches App for data recording and management.
  • Work in a physically demanding environment, ensuring student safety and proper technique.

Qualifications:

  • Athletic or coaching background with experience working with children is essential.
  • Comfortable engaging with parents on various topics.
  • Achieve Coach Certification through the HQ Training and Certification team.
  • Prior management experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with Google and Microsoft platforms is required.
  • CPR certification is necessary.
