POSITION SUMMARY:

We are expanding our team and seeking a dedicated Project Engineer specializing in Mission Critical Construction. This role involves supporting project personnel to ensure the effective and timely delivery of critical construction projects. Key responsibilities encompass scheduling, permitting, subcontractor management, cost tracking, contract preparation, owner coordination, quality assurance, and project completion. This position is based on-site.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in developing essential project processes and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with the project team to create site logistics plans.
  • Support the management of subcontractors.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of contracts.
  • Oversee submittals, change orders, and payment requests.
  • Contribute to project cost estimation and reporting.
  • Analyze and forecast project costs quarterly.
  • Monitor staff training and project labor.
  • Track equipment requirements.
  • Assist in bidding for preconstruction services.
  • Implement safety and compliance programs.
  • Participate in quality assurance processes.
  • Support project scheduling and closure activities.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Relevant experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • General knowledge of construction practices is essential.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a flexible approach.
  • Experience with subcontractors and self-performed work is advantageous.
  • Creative and results-driven mindset.
  • Successful internships or experience in project engineering is a plus.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently or in teams.
  • Physical ability to navigate job sites and lift up to 50lbs.
