We are seeking a talented and driven Control Systems Engineer to join our team of creative professionals in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a key member of the design team, you will play a vital role in integrating mechanical designs with electrical and control systems for our immersive experiences.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with designers and engineers to develop innovative control systems for animatronics, mechanical effects, and show-action equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and pneumatic control system issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Specify motors, drives, cabling, sensors, and other electrical components, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Create detailed electrical schematics and control diagrams, effectively communicating design intent.
  • Participate in risk analysis and DFMEA exercises, contributing to the safety and reliability of our creations.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, understanding their needs and translating them into technical solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mechatronics Engineer, Controls Systems Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Robotics Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, or Controls Technician in a relevant field.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and pneumatic control systems.
  • Strong understanding of machine design principles and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in creating electrical schematics and control diagrams using industry-standard software.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Highly Desired: Previous experience designing animatronics, material handling systems, pick-and-place robots, conveyors, or other robotics applications.
