Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated leader in the domain of Low Pressure Compression Systems.

Systems engineering encompasses a holistic engineering approach that integrates both business and technical requirements to deliver high-quality products that fulfill user expectations. This discipline involves a comprehensive process of design, development, and optimization of systems, which includes identifying and quantifying system requirements, exploring alternative design concepts, conducting design trade studies, selecting and implementing optimal designs, and ensuring proper integration and execution throughout the lifecycle from concept to production and operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the integration of turbomachinery for low pressure compression modules across various rigs and demonstrations.
  • Take ownership of requirements generation and quality assurance for low pressure compression systems across all platforms.
  • Facilitate component and product integration efforts.
  • Manage activities that span multiple components and products, focusing on maximizing performance and operability.
  • Direct product and systems requirements, specifications, and their dissemination.
  • Lead validation and verification initiatives for the overall product/system, including system-level testing.
  • Define product requirements for modules, components, subcontractors, and partner teams.
  • Coordinate interfaces between components and execution teams.
  • Drive critical-to-quality (CTQ) and risk assessments within design teams.
  • Oversee product configuration and configuration control systems.
  • Utilize specialized knowledge within the engineering function.
  • Influence strategic development within the area of responsibility, including resource management and policy formulation.
  • Analyze internal and external business challenges, recommending best practices to enhance products, processes, or services.
  • Stay updated on industry trends that may impact work.
  • Employ high levels of judgment to navigate complex tasks or issues in operational, product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering domains.
  • Assess the quality of information provided and engage stakeholders with relevant inquiries.
  • Propose innovative solutions to challenges beyond established parameters and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Utilize various internal and some external resources to inform decision-making.
  • May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource demands, risk, and/or complexity.
  • Effectively communicate complex concepts and influence perspectives on relevant topics.
  • Encourage others to consider alternative viewpoints.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Systems Engineering.
Preferred Attributes:
  • Master's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities.
  • Proven ability to analyze and resolve complex problems.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading programs/projects.
  • Competence in documenting, planning, marketing, and executing programs with established project management skills.
