You will be accountable for managing the electrical components of projects from initial design through to successful implementation and operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guarantee the efficiency and profitability of each initiative.
  • Create programming for programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to regulate industrial bakery machinery.
  • Design, develop, and deliver technical solutions for control systems that align with client requirements and company objectives.
  • Assess design specifications and application data, collaborating with engineering leadership to address technical challenges and sales considerations.
  • Supervise and coordinate control system design, ensuring effective collaboration among engineering teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to maintain project integrity and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor project timelines and milestones through engineering, production, commissioning, client acceptance, and final invoicing.
  • Provide support and advice to Sales, manufacturing, and finance teams regarding daily operational challenges related to assigned systems.
  • Participate in field commissioning and troubleshooting of systems and equipment.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and stay updated on industry advancements relevant to our product offerings.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in PLC and HMI programming.
  • Proficiency with Studio5000 and FactoryTalk ViewME.
  • Experience with AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Familiarity with Rockwell Automation Motion and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Siemens Control Systems.
  • Strong analytical skills for designing control systems and effectively managing work priorities.
  • Commitment to working additional hours as necessary to meet project deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent planning, coordination, and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional verbal communication abilities for interaction with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel for field assessments, proposal presentations, project follow-ups, and troubleshooting services.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
