Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop control systems from scratch, with minimal assistance from project managers.
  • Develop PLC software from scratch, adhering to company software standards.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and project managers.
  • Review and understand project scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Create and submit Engineering Change Requests and Purchase Order Requisitions.
  • Schedule Design Reviews with project managers.
  • Design and implement efficient software solutions.
  • Understand and implement effective safety solutions.
  • Apply core controls systems into designs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Technology.
  • 3-7 years of related working experience.
  • Efficiency in troubleshooting existing control systems and equipment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to travel 20-30% overnight to client facilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in at least one software platform.
  • Experience in at least one common peripheral equipment platform.
