Job Overview

Position Summary: This role involves executing maintenance and repair tasks on gas compression and process machinery at client sites as directed. The individual will serve as a technical expert for intricate issues within the designated area.

Key Responsibilities:
- Exhibit advanced troubleshooting and repair capabilities on various equipment types, including Caterpillar, Cummins, and Waukesha Engines, along with Ariel Compressors.
- Conduct Preventative Maintenance (such as valve adjustments) independently.
- Supervise a team during Major Maintenance tasks (including Top End, Head changes, Piston and Liner replacements), ensuring standards are met with minimal assistance.
- Execute compressor calculations accurately.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and communication.
- Proficiently read, write, and converse in English for work-related documentation.
- Utilize computer skills, including vendor-specific software (Cat ET, Cat SIS, Waukesha ESP, Ariel Performance, Murphy Config Tool, etc.), Google Chrome, and Outlook.
- Timely completion and submission of required documentation through company software.

Essential Knowledge:
- Comprehensive understanding of gas engines and compressors, electrical systems, panel boards, controls, and skid wiring, acquired through advanced training or verified performance.
- Familiarity with relevant Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) protocols and regulations.
- General knowledge of client production equipment, including scrubbers and on/off skids.
- In-depth comprehension of compressor operational processes and systems.
- Awareness of maintenance standards and the ability to follow them accurately.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Preferred completion of gas or diesel engine and compressor training programs.

Experience Requirements:
- Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of experience with natural gas engines and compressors, alongside a working knowledge of production equipment.
- Proven track record of safe and effective service experience.
