Role Description: The Field Service Specialist is responsible for the installation and maintenance of both company-owned and client-owned equipment in various field environments. This role involves working with diverse oil and gas production and processing systems, including ECDs and Burner Management systems, while ensuring job safety and completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote a culture of safety by adhering to all safety protocols and ensuring equipment operates safely.
  • Conduct installation and repair work on electrical, electronic, and pneumatic components related to combustor and incineration systems.
  • Engage in pipefitting tasks associated with oil and gas production equipment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and field tickets for billing purposes.
  • Perform startup, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of oil and gas production equipment.
  • Assist field service teams with equipment repairs and maintenance as required.
  • Travel as necessary and stay overnight when required.
  • Maintain a company vehicle and ensure all maintenance is completed.
  • Foster positive relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Adhere to company policies and maintain a collaborative team spirit.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently in remote locations.
  • Understanding of relevant electrical codes.
  • 3-5 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation fields.
  • 2 years of field service experience.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation field work.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and using ladders.
  • Work primarily outdoors, subject to various weather conditions.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of mechanical equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in computer applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

Compensation: Pay starts at $24.00 per hour, with additional benefits including bonus pay and overtime opportunities.
