Position Overview

The primary objective of this role is to deliver exceptional client service, fostering member satisfaction and loyalty by assisting clients in maximizing their use of Ent's diverse range of offerings. This is achieved through precise and professional member interactions, increasing awareness of available products and services, and providing timely referrals for additional offerings. The Client Services Specialist is also responsible for understanding and adhering to credit union policies and procedures, as well as financial regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). Success in this role requires excellence in service delivery, effective communication, comprehensive product knowledge, and meticulous accuracy while meeting all performance and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering outstanding client service through accurate and professional in-person transactions, including new member account setups, account maintenance, and adherence to Service Center Control Manual procedures. Ensuring member needs are met by maintaining a robust understanding of available products and services, regularly providing referrals across various domains, including lending, investments, electronic banking, wealth management, and business banking. Complying with safety and service standards as outlined in the Credit Union's Policies and Procedures, as well as relevant financial regulations, including the BSA and CFPB. Meeting job training requirements and maintaining proficiency in required skills. Managing a cash drawer in accordance with the Credit Union's Cash Control Policy. Staying informed about and adhering to Ent's policies and procedures related to the Bank Secrecy Act.

Required Qualifications

For Client Services Specialist:

High School Diploma/G.E.D. or equivalent. Minimum of 6 months of customer service and cash handling experience. Sales experience is preferred. For Senior Client Services Specialist: High School Diploma/G.E.D. or equivalent. Training in Member Relationship, Customer Service New Account, or equivalent. At least 1 year of customer service, sales, or related experience. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a financial institution. At least 6 months of cash handling experience.

Skills and Knowledge

A positive attitude towards community service. Strong focus on client service and identifying appropriate cross-sell/upsell opportunities. Attention to detail and accuracy in all transactions is essential. Professional and courteous communication skills are critical. Proficiency in basic math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division). Comfort in handling cash with a high degree of accuracy during member interactions. Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and web-based transactional systems for daily member requests. Ability to use a 10-Key by touch is preferred.

Additional Information

Compensation:

- Client Services Specialist - $19.91 – $21.99 (S10).

- Senior Client Services Specialist - $25.83 (S11).

Final compensation will be based on various factors, including relevant work experience, specific skills, education, certifications, and internal pay equity.

This position may be eligible for an incentive plan and a bilingual (Spanish) stipend.
