Role Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the market information database and integrate various data sources.
  • Track and analyze relevant supply and demand metrics.
  • Generate regular reports and assessments on supply and demand indicators.
  • Present market forecasts and pricing trends during quarterly meetings.
  • Refine and enhance statistical pricing models for all poultry products.
  • Create mathematical and statistical frameworks for business challenges (profitability models, yield optimization, customer segmentation, etc.).
  • Streamline processes through automation.
  • Collaborate internally to design dashboards and visualization tools.
  • Conduct competitive assessments across all business segments.
  • Analyze demand across various sectors: Retail, Food Service, Export, etc.
  • Perform pricing and product mix optimization analyses.
  • Support upper management with specific requests.
  • Undertake additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics, Economics, Business, Statistics, or a related discipline.
  • 2-4 years of experience in business analytics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in data management and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey findings to non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in at least one statistical software package (STATA, R, SAS, or EViews).
  • Background in applied statistics.
  • Experience in project management and process enhancement.
  • Ability to perform job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Willingness to travel as business needs arise.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Background in the food or agricultural industry.
  • Knowledge of commodity markets.
  • Familiarity with database software (e.g., SQL).
  • Working knowledge of VBA.
  • Experience with Qlikview.
  • Ability to extract data from various sources (e.g., IRI/Nielsen, USDA).
  • Experience using statistical tools for data analysis.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage commence after 60 days of employment.
  • Paid Time Off includes sick leave, vacation, and 6 company-observed holidays.
  • 401(k) plan with company match after the first year of service, following the company vesting schedule.
  • Base salary range of $74,000-$100,000.
  • Eligibility for the Company’s annual bonus plan, with amounts varying based on standard terms and conditions.
