About the Role

Amedisys, a leading provider of home health and hospice services, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals, patients, and families to promote our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the healthcare industry, including hospitals, nursing homes, and physician offices.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key referral sources, including healthcare professionals and organizations.
  • Patient Engagement: Educate patients and families about our home health and hospice services, and coordinate patient admissions with our team.
  • Account Management: Achieve sales targets and meet short and long-term account goals.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, referrals, and sales calls.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least one year of experience in a healthcare-related business development or outreach role.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
  • Transportation: Reliable transportation, current driver's license, and liability insurance.
