Job Description

At Community Residences, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Instructor to join our team. As a Residential Instructor, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and supportive living environment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide individualized support and care to clients, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  2. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure client success.
  3. Assist clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation, laundry, and household chores.
  4. Monitor client progress, reporting any changes or concerns to our clinical team.
  5. Administer medication, as qualified, and maintain accurate records.
  6. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  7. Collaborate with our team to ensure a safe and healthy living environment.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Valid CT driver's license and good driving record.
  • Physical Management Training (PMT) and First Aid, CPR, and Medication Certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Schedule:

Saturday: 3pm-10pm, Sunday: 2pm-10pm, Monday: 2pm-9pm, Tuesday/Wednesday: 2pm-10pm
