Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Instructor to join our team at Community Residences. As a Residential Instructor, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and supportive living environment for our clients, while also facilitating their personal growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, meal preparation, and medication administration.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to promote clients' physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and support for clients.
  • Monitor and report any changes in clients' medical, physical, or behavioral status.
  • Administer medication to clients as prescribed, while maintaining accurate records and adhering to agency policies.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in a related field, with at least one year of experience in the human services field.
  • Valid CT driver's license and a good driving record.
  • Physical Management Training (PMT) certification, First Aid, CPR, and Medication Administration Certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
Work Schedule

Residential Instructors work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings, to ensure 24/7 coverage.
