Archipelago Accounts Payable Specialist

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing and processing invoices and payments for all 4 brands. This role requires an understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities- Process invoices and purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Verify the accuracy of invoices against company records.
- Respond to high-volume email inquiries from vendors and colleagues in a timely manner.
- Obtain invoice approval and GL code prior to submission for payment.
- Record and code invoices in the ERP system.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Process employee expense reports through Concur.
- Corporate credit card posting and reconciliation.
- Prepare and process payments to vendors, including checks, ACH's and wire transfers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts payable transactions.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Participate in internal and external audits.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality with all financial transactions.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or other related field required.
- 3-4 years of proven work experience in accounts payable.
- Knowledge of accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This is an in-office hybrid position, mandatory 4 days per week in office Monday through Thursday at our Irvine, CA location and option to work from home on Fridays. Subject to change without notice as per company guidelines.
Compensation and BenefitsThe hourly rate for this position is $23.00 to $33.00 per hour. Hourly rate is based on the experience that you bring to the position.
