Qualifications:

Minimum of an Associate's Degree with at least three years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline is required. Proven customer service experience is essential.

Job Overview:

The Private Client Associate plays a vital role in supporting Private Banking operations. Responsibilities encompass business processing, customer service engagements, and various banking operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all incoming service requests from clients.
  • Provide backup support via phone when bankers are engaged in sales activities.
  • Maintain knowledge of Private Banking product offerings.
  • Process consumer and commercial loan requests.
  • Assist in the account origination process, particularly with loan documentation and internal system bookings.
  • Support the credit renewal process, including monitoring upcoming maturities and exception reports.
  • Facilitate the opening and closing of deposit accounts.
  • Address client inquiries related to loan and deposit account matters and electronic banking.
  • Coordinate and prepare marketing and account review materials.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to acquire knowledge of core lending and deposit products and systems.
  • Willingness to develop a fundamental understanding of bank services and operations.
  • Must register and maintain compliance with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) as per S.A.F.E. Act requirements.
  • Ability to perform calculations involving discounts, interest, percentages, ratios, returns, and fractions.
  • Capability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to learn various other systems proficiently.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills are essential.
  • Self-motivated and an excellent team player.
