Job Overview: Trust Advisor III
As part of Comerica Advisor Solutions, our Strategic Alliance represents a collaboration between two esteemed financial institutions. This partnership enables clients to benefit from Comerica Bank & Trust, N.A.'s expert trust administration services, complemented by the expertise of their Financial Advisor, delivered through a tailored, service-oriented approach.

The Trust Advisor III plays a pivotal role as a relationship manager for a designated portfolio, providing guidance on specific trust documents, overseeing comprehensive estate planning, and collaborating closely with our Financial Advisor partners.

This role's active participation in business development is crucial for achieving the division's annual growth objectives.

Key Competencies:
Successful candidates will demonstrate strong communication skills, adept problem-solving abilities, relevant functional and technical expertise, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a customer-centric focus.

Position Responsibilities:
- Manage routine accounts in accordance with governing documents and applicable regulations, ensuring alignment with the needs of principals, income beneficiaries, and remaindermen.
- Review, analyze, and interpret documentation for guidance; assess accounts for completeness and accuracy, monitor transactions, and respond to client inquiries to ensure compliance with legal and procedural standards.
- Collaborate with management to devise solutions for issues raised by clients, including requests for special distributions, fee concerns, or disputes.
- Oversee account openings and closures, ensuring the receipt of necessary documentation, the complete transfer of assets, and accurate tax reporting in coordination with external CPAs and advisors.
- Provide comprehensive wealth planning advice to clients and participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing service delivery efficiency.

Communicate effectively with Financial Advisor partners, clients, and internal stakeholders, providing timely updates on account activities and promptly addressing requests.

Collaborate with Advisor Solutions Trust Specialists to generate new business opportunities through established networks.

Work Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday
Work Environment: Category C - In-office days will vary from 2 to 5 days per week.

Compensation:
For candidates in specific states, the expected salary range for this role is:
- California: $91,250 - $183,750 Annually
Salary ranges are subject to change based on various factors including position, location, skillset, and peer compensation.
