Position Summary:
As a Senior Environmental Sciences Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our multidisciplinary team, collaborating with ecologists, engineers, and scientists to deliver strategic environmental consulting services. Your expertise will contribute to a variety of infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and promoting sustainable practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee environmental impact assessments and compliance documents in alignment with NEPA, CEQA, and other relevant regulations.
- Provide expert guidance on environmental compliance planning, permitting, and due diligence for diverse infrastructure projects.
- Interpret and apply environmental statutes and regulations to support project design and execution.
- Lead small teams in conducting environmental analyses and preparing necessary documentation for regulatory approvals.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in environmental studies, environmental engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience in leading environmental impact assessments and compliance efforts for infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of domestic and international environmental regulations and permitting processes.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
Work Environment:
This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for a combination of in-office and remote work. The role may require occasional travel for project-related activities.
