Position Summary:
As a Senior Environmental Sciences Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our mission to deliver sustainable infrastructure solutions. You will be responsible for:
- Leading the creation of environmental impact assessments and compliance documents aligned with NEPA and CEQA regulations.
- Providing strategic environmental consulting across various infrastructure projects, ensuring our clients achieve their environmental goals.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including ecologists, engineers, and scientists, to develop optimal environmental solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development of environmental assessments and compliance documentation in accordance with relevant regulations.
- Work independently and collaboratively to support clients in environmental compliance, permitting, and review processes.
- Interpret and apply relevant statutes and regulations to project siting, design, and operations.
- Lead teams in conducting environmental analyses and preparing necessary documentation.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in environmental studies, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in leading environmental assessments and compliance efforts.
- Familiarity with domestic and international environmental regulations and permitting processes.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
