Triple Cities Metal Finishing is actively looking for a dedicated Order Processing Specialist to become a vital part of our organization. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality, safety, and efficiency of our operations through meticulous order management. Your primary responsibility will be the precise and prompt processing of customer orders, contributing to our commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently input a high volume of customer orders into our system, ensuring accuracy in pricing, quantities, and product specifications.
  • Address basic customer inquiries and concerns, resolving issues or escalating them as necessary.
  • Update and maintain the customer database by processing additions, cancellations, and modifications to orders.
  • Collaborate with the Shipping Department to manage order changes and cancellations effectively.
  • Verify job-site documentation and process orders to guarantee timely and accurate shipments.
  • Coordinate pickups with logistics providers, including the preparation of necessary invoices and shipping documents.
  • Support operational integrity by adhering to established policies and procedures, reporting any required changes.
  • Safeguard customer information by maintaining confidentiality and protecting operational data.
  • Prepare products and materials for shipment, ensuring readiness for delivery.
  • Monitor and document the handling of materials throughout the process.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience: Relevant experience in manufacturing or a related field is advantageous, with prior experience in order processing being highly desirable.
  • Skills:
    • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness.
    • Communication: Effective communication skills for reporting and collaborating with team members.
    • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify challenges and propose solutions.
    • Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in mathematics and computer operations, with the capability to utilize specialized tools.
    • Physical Requirements: Capacity to stand for extended periods and interpret technical documents.
    • Quality Assurance: Commitment to ensuring all products meet established quality standards.

Compensation and Benefits:
