We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Endocrinology team at Ascension in Binghamton. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with Basic Patient Care Activities
- Provide personal care and support to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as eating, toileting, and transferring.
- Assist with Procedures and Treatments
- Assist with procedures ordered by physicians and supervised by registered nurses (RNs).
- Help patients with tending to their personal care needs, including wound care and medication administration.
- Monitor and Report Patient Conditions
- Observe and report any changes in patients' physical, mental, or emotional conditions to nursing staff.
- Document patient information and maintain accurate records.
- Maintain a Safe and Clean Environment
- Assist with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or emergency situations to nursing staff.
