Position Overview
- The Patient Services Coordinator is responsible for providing front desk assistance and administrative support under the supervision of the Clinic Manager. This role involves managing various coding and billing processes while acting as a resource for patients within the Clinic Business Office.
- Minimum Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent OR relevant experience. Experience: At least six months of applicable office experience. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Not applicable.
- Preferred Qualifications Education: Completion of a post-secondary program in business administration or medical office management. Experience: Prior experience in a medical or general office environment with a focus on customer service. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Not applicable.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Familiarity with standard office clerical tasks and proficiency in computerized office systems. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage tasks effectively. Proficient in keyboarding and capable of professional communication with patients and staff. Willingness to travel to other clinics or departments as required.
- Physical Demands and Environment Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, remain seated for extended periods, and move around as necessary. The typical noise level is consistent with an office setting. No exposure to hazardous working conditions.
