Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Boyd Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Specialist to join our HMI and Graphics Business Unit sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth in the Aerospace & Defense and Industrial markets, leveraging your technical expertise and sales acumen to identify and pursue new opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of materials solutions and a passion for technically based sales. You will work closely with our Engineering and Operations teams to develop integrated product solutions and provide technical support to our Business Development Executives. Your ability to build strong relationships with customers and drive business growth will be critical to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and grow a strong sales pipeline in the Aerospace & Defense and Industrial markets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, including engineering and operating departments and management levels.
  • Work closely with our Business Development team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Provide technical support to our Business Development Executives and Engineering teams.
  • Manage the quotation process, including technical review of engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Monitor and manage progress of engagement, pipeline, and projects to ensure successful customer outcomes.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field with 5-10 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in a technical selling role.
