Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that cater to the unique needs and abilities of students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective educational program.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress.
- Assess student learning and adjust instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in special education and implement new strategies to improve student outcomes.
- Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
- Appropriate content/program area educator license (Teacher of Students with Moderate Disabilities) and grade level (PreK-8) licensure from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
- Experience working with students with moderate disabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
