Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Elementary Classroom Teacher to join our team at Springfield Public Schools. As a key member of our educational community, you will be responsible for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic excellence and social growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust instruction to meet individual needs.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of student performance and progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, resources, and expertise.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Elementary Education or related field.
  • Appropriate content/program area educator license (Elementary) and grade level (1-6) licensure from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
