**Role Overview**

As a Wine & Spirits Account Manager, you will take charge of a designated territory with established accounts, focusing on building strong relationships through direct interactions. Your primary goal will be to enhance Gallo's visibility and presence in the market through strategic product placements.

**Key Responsibilities**

***Sales Management:***

  • Engage with established grocery and pharmacy chain accounts.
  • Manage your schedule effectively to maximize account visits and achieve sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers to drive incremental sales.
  • Create tailored sales presentations that highlight the advantages of partnering with Gallo.

***Merchandising Strategy:***

  • Identify opportunities for cross-merchandising within your accounts to enhance product visibility.
  • Utilize creative merchandising techniques to encourage impulse purchases.

**Qualifications**

***Minimum Requirements:***

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent retail sales experience.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to transport promotional materials and lift product cases weighing between 45-57 pounds.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and reside within or near the assigned territory.

***Preferred Qualifications:***

  • Bachelor's degree with two years of retail sales experience.
  • Experience working independently in a field-based role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and build rapport with clients.
