Position Overview:
We are on the lookout for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to enhance our finance team. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your financial skills in a fast-paced and rewarding setting within the automotive sector. As an AP Specialist, you will be integral in managing accounts payable processes, executing financial transactions, and generating financial reports. Your contributions will be vital in upholding the financial integrity of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the complete accounts payable cycle, including invoice and payment processing, as well as vendor relations.
  • Employ advanced Excel capabilities to create and oversee detailed financial reports, utilizing tools such as Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
  • Perform account reconciliations to guarantee accurate reporting and ledger upkeep.
  • Accurately record and process financial transactions, ensuring timely execution of credits and debits.
  • Analyze financial statements to identify discrepancies and address issues promptly.
  • Maintain precise and organized financial records, ensuring data is current and accessible.
  • Collaborate with finance team members to enhance financial processes and operations.
  • Ensure adherence to all financial regulations and standards.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a comparable role within the finance sector.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
  • Strong knowledge of account reconciliation, data entry, and financial statement analysis.
  • In-depth understanding of credits and debits.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in the automotive or dealership industry is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven capability to handle sensitive and confidential information with care.
