- Deliver primary healthcare services in accordance with Internal Medicine protocols.
- Request and interpret diagnostic evaluations, and refer patients to specialists as required.
- Examine medical documentation and test outcomes to identify patients' health issues and suggest suitable treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and treatment plans based on established medical conditions, ensuring patients comprehend potential side effects.
- Advise on lifestyle and dietary changes to enhance patient health.
- Comply with departmental guidelines and procedures, safeguarding patient confidentiality and adhering to health information privacy regulations.
- Work collaboratively with peers and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
- At least one year of experience in primary healthcare.
- Valid medical license in California.
- Board certification or eligibility in internal medicine, surgery, emergency medicine, or psychiatry (preferred).
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- In good standing with the Medical Board of California.
Work Environment:
Dynamic medical office setting with varied interactions.
Willingness to work across multiple clinics as required.
Physical Requirements:
Frequent activities include sitting, writing, typing, and verbal communication.
Occasional activities may involve standing, walking, lifting, and bending.
Capability to operate computers and other office machinery.
