Job Overview

The IT Project Manager will oversee all phases of IT projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget. This role involves leading a multidisciplinary team, coordinating with technical experts to design and implement software systems, and working closely with stakeholders to align project goals with business needs.

This position requires a strong leader who can ensure that projects progress smoothly, conduct post-launch evaluations, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Management: Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • IT System Implementation: Lead the implementation of new IT systems from inception through completion, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Team Leadership: Coordinate project teams, including technical staff, to ensure project objectives are met and team members are empowered to succeed.
  • Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential issues and ensure project success.
  • Communication and Reporting: Provide regular updates on project status to stakeholders and leadership, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Business Alignment: Support large-scale technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic goals.
  • EHR System Integration: Assist in the integration and implementation of new EHR systems, particularly during migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Facilitate stakeholder engagement and communication to ensure project success and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 5-10+ years of experience in project management, preferably in Health and Human Services.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with EHR systems, particularly Core Solutions CX360, is beneficial.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Certifications: Project Management certifications (PMP, Scrum) are preferred.
  • Additional Skills: Familiarity with SDLC processes and technical project management.
Additional Information
  • Desirable Skills: Experience in EHR implementation or migration projects is highly valued.
  • Technical Knowledge: Technical knowledge of integrations, configurations, and development is a plus.
