Role Responsibilities

As an Accounting Specialist, you will collaborate closely with clients and team members to provide top-notch bookkeeping services. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Processing and managing clients' financial transactions.
  • Utilizing accounting software, including QuickBooks and Sage, for effective transaction management.
  • Conducting reconciliations of bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and loan accounts.
  • Generating insightful financial statements and reports.
  • Assisting in the preparation of year-end documentation such as 1099s and W2s.
  • Supporting accountants with various client projects.
  • Exhibiting strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Demonstrated experience in accounting, preferably in a bookkeeping role within a CPA firm or accounting department.
  • Understanding of bookkeeping principles and basic accounting concepts.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and both QuickBooks Desktop and Online.
  • A proven track record of reliability and organization.
  • The ability to prioritize and manage various tasks effectively.
