Job Title: Territory Manager

The Territory Manager at VESTIS is responsible for overseeing an assigned service territory with direct supervision of route representatives. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote a safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate, coach, and develop Route Sales Representatives (RSRs) to achieve sales and service goals.
  • Manage day-to-day activities of customer service programs and ensure timely resolution of service requests.
  • Visit customers regularly to review growth and service opportunities and negotiate renewal agreements.
  • Recruit, select, and hire Route Sales employees and provide coaching and development opportunities.
  • Deliver and participate in training to ensure customer retention and service goals are met.
  • Coordinate collections for accounts receivable and protect merchandise control processes.
  • Investigate and report on all accidents or incidents within 24 hours of notification.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Two years of service and route-based industry experience with a proven track record of growing customer accounts.
  • Previous profit and loss accountability and/or contract-managed service experience preferred.
  • Significant customer interface and service experience.
  • Production planning, maintenance, or warehouse operations experience preferred.
Working Environment:

The majority of time will be spent driving a company vehicle or step-van to call on customers and supervise employees in the assigned service territory. The role requires frequent lifting and maneuvering of up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds.
