About the Role:

The Territory Business Manager will play a crucial role in driving Immunology sales growth in the Virginia Beach territory. This individual will be responsible for executing sales strategies and collaborating with the Regional Business Director and customer-facing team members to ensure patients receive optimal support throughout their Primary Immune Disease journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales strategies that drive Immunology sales growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals to educate them on Takeda's Immunology products and services.
  • Manage the complexity of the Immunology marketplace, including distribution and site of care.
  • Work with third-party specialty pharmacies to ensure patients receive timely access to therapy.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and guidelines, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction while embodying Takeda's culture and values.
Requirements:
  • Clinical sales background with a Bachelor of Science degree (minimum).
  • 7+ years of demonstrated successful relevant healthcare experience managing and being accountable for own business.
  • Results-driven with a track record of compliance and customer satisfaction.
  • Understanding of customer motivations and needs.
  • Business acumen and knowledge of sales processes.
  • Territory planning skills are required.
  • Experience working in team and individual contributor settings.
  • Effective at acquiring and analyzing customer data to create sales strategies.
  • Change agility skills and experiences required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of and experience in Immunology is desirable.
  • Biotech experience desirable.
  • Experience with Specialty Pharmacy is encouraged.
  • Results in influencing HCPs to prescribe and product launch experience.
  • Conduct physician engagements on evenings, including the execution of Peer-to-Peer programming.
  • Requirement to support conventions and meetings supporting Immunology.
Travel Requirements:

Able to travel 70% of the time, including ability to travel overnight and occasionally on weekends.

Must be 18 years of age or older with valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.

Must have authorization and ability to drive a company leased vehicle or rental.

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others.

U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
